Caregiver job in Poland

We are looking for compassionate, patient, and dedicated Caregivers to work in reputable elderly care homes, rehabilitation centres, and private residences across Poland. Job Description

The Caregiver will be responsible for supporting elderly or disabled individuals with day-to-day tasks to improve their quality of life. You will work closely with nursing staff, family members, and supervisors to ensure the patient’s comfort, hygiene, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility
  • Support patients with toileting, diaper changes, and maintaining proper hygiene
  • Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) and report changes to supervisors
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding where required
  • Help clients move safely using wheelchairs, walkers, and lifting devices
  • Keep patient rooms, bedding, and equipment clean and organized
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and friendly communication
  • Assist clients in daily exercise routines and recommended therapy activities
  • Administer medication following instructions from healthcare professionals
  • Ensure client safety at all times, especially those with memory disorders
  • Document daily activities, health updates, and any medical observations
  • Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other caregivers to deliver coordinated care
  • Follow strict health, safety, and infection-control guidelines
  • Support clients during medical appointments or rehabilitation sessions

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a caregiver, nurse aide, home care assistant, or related field (advantage but not always mandatory)
  • Basic knowledge of elderly care, disability support, and patient handling
  • Good communication skills in English (knowledge of basic Polish is an added advantage)
  • Physically fit and able to lift or assist patients during movement
  • Emotionally stable, patient, and able to work with vulnerable individuals
  • Honest, dependable, and respectful
  • Willing to work shifts, including weekends if required
  • Willing to travel and reside in Poland for the contract duration
  • Age: 20–50 years preferred
  • Must be medically fit
