We are seeking skilled, disciplined, and safety-conscious Truck Drivers to work with a leading logistics and distribution company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position is ideal for drivers who are committed to professionalism, punctuality, and safe road practices while ensuring timely deliveries across the UAE.
The company handles a wide range of cargo including commercial goods, construction materials, FMCG products, and warehouse distributions. Drivers will be part of a highly organized transport team with modern trucks and reliable support systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive heavy commercial trucks (Category 4) within Dubai and other emirates
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while ensuring on-time arrivals
- Load and offload goods carefully, ensuring correct stacking, balancing, and securing
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues immediately
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, delivery times, and maintenance logs
- Operate lifting equipment or tail-lifts when necessary (training may be provided)
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and logistics coordinators regarding route updates
- Adhere to all UAE driving laws, company road safety guidelines, and defensive driving principles
- Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness of the truck at all times
- Ensure all delivery documents, invoices, and receipts are handled correctly and returned to the office
- Respond professionally to clients at delivery sites, representing the company with respect
- Manage long driving hours, traffic delays, and varying weather conditions while remaining alert
- Support the logistics team with additional duties as requested
Job Requirements
- Mandatory: Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4)
- Minimum 2–5 years driving heavy trucks in UAE roads
- Good knowledge of UAE routes including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, RAK, and Fujairah
- Good understanding of truck safety, cargo handling, weight limits, and defensive driving
- Ability to read maps, follow GPS systems, and adjust routes during traffic congestion
- Must be physically fit, medically approved, and capable of handling manual tasks
- Strong communication skills in basic English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Clean driving record with no history of DUI or major road violations
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime when required
- Age limit 22–45 years, disciplined, and responsible
- Strong work ethic, honesty, and ability to work independently under minimal supervision
