House Manager in Oman

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and dependable Lady House Manager to work for a reputable household in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the home’s daily operations, supervising domestic staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring smooth overall household functioning. This role requires excellent leadership skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.


Job Overview

The Lady House Manager will oversee household activities, manage staff schedules, coordinate cleaning and maintenance, and ensure the home is well-organized and comfortable. She will serve as the central point of contact for all household operations and ensure the highest standards of service are consistently met.


Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating domestic staff (housekeepers, cooks, cleaners, drivers, etc.)
  • Planning daily and weekly household schedules
  • Ensuring hygiene, cleanliness, and orderliness in all areas of the home
  • Managing household inventory, groceries, and purchasing tasks
  • Overseeing meal planning and kitchen organization when needed
  • Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and service providers
  • Welcoming and attending to guests professionally
  • Managing household expenses and petty cash
  • Communicating regularly with the employer on daily operations
  • Ensuring confidentiality, trust, and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

  • Female applicants only
  • Previous experience as a house manager, supervisor, or senior housekeeper
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills
  • Good command of English (Arabic is an added advantage)
  • Professional, respectful, and discreet personality
  • Ability to manage a team and give clear instructions
  • Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced household

  • Valid Passport (at least 1-year validity)
  • Updated CV with detailed experience in housekeeping or home management
  • Certificate of Good Conduct / Police Clearance
  • Full-size Clear Photo (white or light background)
  • Good English communication skills
  • Medical Fitness Certificate from Gamca
  • Meningitis Certificate
  • Reference letters from previous employers (strong advantage)
  • Willingness to work full-time and possibly live-in, depending on employer requirements
  • Ability to adapt to a multicultural family environment
