Job Overview
Apartment Security Guards are responsible for ensuring the safety of residents, monitoring entry and exit points, observing CCTV systems, handling visitor logs, and responding to security situations promptly. The guard must maintain a calm and polite demeanor at all times while enforcing building rules and safety measures.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring building entrances and controlling access for visitors
- Keeping detailed visitor logs and verifying identities
- Patrolling apartment premises to ensure safety and security
- Observing CCTV cameras and reporting suspicious activities
- Responding to emergencies, alarms, or unusual incidents promptly
- Guiding residents and visitors when needed
- Ensuring safety protocols and building rules are followed
- Coordinating with building management and emergency services
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or security risks
- Keeping the security office and surroundings clean and organized
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts
- Previous security experience is an added advantage
- Basic English communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Ability to stay alert, focused, and calm under pressure
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Honest, reliable, well-groomed, and professional
- Ability to follow instructions and building security procedures
