Job Description:
We are looking for experienced and dependable truck drivers to join reputable logistics and transport companies across the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The role involves driving heavy trucks for long distances, transporting goods between cities, ports, warehouses, and customer locations. Candidates must have strong driving skills, knowledge of road safety regulations, and the ability to operate heavy vehicles responsibly. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive heavy trucks safely to deliver cargo across various UAE routes
- Load and unload goods following company procedures
- Inspect trucks before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and fuel records
- Follow UAE traffic laws and defensive driving practices
- Ensure goods are delivered on time and in good condition
- Communicate with dispatch teams for route instructions and updates
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance when necessary
- Keep the truck clean, secure, and well-maintained
Licenses Needed for Truck Driving in UAE
To work as a professional truck driver in the UAE, candidates must have:
Mandatory License:
- UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License – Category 4 (Heavy Truck License)
This license allows drivers to operate trucks and heavy goods vehicles legally within the UAE.
Preferred/Additional Licenses (Not Mandatory but Beneficial):
- UAE Light Vehicle License (Category 3) – Advantage for light delivery trucks
- Forklift Operation Certificate – Helpful in warehouse loading/unloading
- GCC Heavy Vehicle License – Strong advantage for faster recruitment
- Previous Kenyan CE/Heavy Truck License may be acceptable, but conversion to UAE Category 4 is usually required.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Passport (minimum 1-year validity)
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certificate of Good Conduct / Police Clearance
- Full-size Clear Photo (white or light background)
- Good English communication skills (basic speaking and understanding)
- Must hold a valid heavy truck driving license (Kenyan, GCC, or equivalent)
- UAE Category 4 License or willingness to undergo the license conversion process
- Minimum 1–2 years of truck driving experience
- Good knowledge of vehicle safety, maintenance, and long-distance driving
- Physically fit, mentally alert, and able to work long hours
Additional Advantages (Not Mandatory):
- Previous experience working in GCC countries
- Familiarity with UAE roads, cities, and logistics systems
- Understanding of GPS navigation and digital delivery systems
- Knowledge of basic Arabic
